Jungle, rice terraces, and Balinese culture set the stage for this getaway that will leave you refreshed, inspired and renewed. We’ve partnered with Wild Adventure Retreats for this trip to create an itinerary that offers masterful workshops, guest speakers and personalized coaching as well as daily yoga, fresh local cuisine, and jungle & beach excursions in beautiful Ubud.

Itinerary:

Day 1: saturday – Arrival & Welcome Dinner

Arrive at the Bali Ngurah Rai Airport (Denpasar, Indonesia) where your driver will meet you for your 90 minute transfer to Soul Shine Bali Retreat Center in Ubud. Settle into your room and decompress with with a fresh-made juice, cocktail or jet lag boost. Relax at the pool, mingle with your fellow travelers and schedule your massage spot for the week and start thinking about goal setting. For dinner, we’ll join a local family for a personalized cultural dinner to experience Balinese traditions. End the night at your leisure or join a guided meditation to close the evening.

Day 2: sunday – Sacred Temple & goal setting

Wake up with daily yoga classes lead by inspiring yogis and fitness pros. The coffee and tea bar is ready to go daily, bright and early, followed by a nourishing breakfast and health drinks. Today we’ll be immersed in local culture with a Sacred Temple Tour and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, take time for yourself to journal, get your massage, set your weeks goals and grab a spot for one-on-one coaching with groundbreaking therapist and author John Kim. A leisurely afternoon takes us to our nightly cocktail hour and healthy group dinner, followed by our nightly expert presentations, goal setting and mingling time. Rest, socialize, or head to bed to prep for a full week.

Day 3: monday – community partner day 

Start your day with yoga, coffee & tea, and breakfast to power you up. Today we will to get in tune with our physical/mental connections before heading out to our local community partner to learn how travel impacts locals. Take a break to enjoy the pool or spa or a healthy drink before we depart for our group river rafting excursion. Return to the resort charged up in the afternoon and join an optional fitness boot camp or one on one coaching sessions before cocktail hour. After dinner, grab your journal and get ready to be inspired with our evenings expert presented topics. Not ready for bed yet? Join our candle light Vinyasa flow before you retire to bed.

Day 4: tuesday – Sun, surf & snorkel 

After morning yoga and breakfast, we grab our skivvies and head to the beach. Our group vans will to chauffeur us for the 75 min drive to the beach on the southern peninsula. We will take in lunch on the seaside while you soak in the sun, snorkel, surf or SUP or take in the local culture. Want some down time? Grab a one on one coaching session with John Kim, with a few spots open at the beach. After sunset, we’ll head back to our private resort just in time for cocktail hour and our healthy group dinner on the terrace. End the evening with a short expert presentation or take the evening for your leisure and personal time.

Day 5: wednesday – free day

Your private yoga session and morning wake up awaits you once again, with a power packed breakfast. Enjoy an open morning to go to the pool or spa or book an extra activity from our many add-on options. Meet us for lunch on the terrace followed by pool party. Take an optional afternoon boot camp fitness class, get a massage, or walk through the rice terraces in the jungle. Continue your weekly goal setting checklist and boundary breaking progress sessions. Our evening closes with an inspiring expert topic presentation, and a late night candle light Vinyasa flow and mingling. Or if you chose, head to bed early to prep for the early morning sunrise peak hike.

Day 6: thursday – sunrise hike & meditation

Today we begin by changing the status quo and waking early to depart for a 2 a.m. sunrise peak hike, with snacks and coffee on the way. The two-hour hike will take us to inspiring peak view where our experts take us through an awakening Vedic meditation and soul search, then a group session with our groundbreaking authors. We’ll enjoy breakfast at the peak and soak in  our growing connection to adventure and the mind. Upon return, relax at the resort, nap, socialize, head to the spa, and soul seek.  

The rest of the day is yours to rest, mingle and prep for the end of the week’s goal sessions and festivities. Our nightly cocktail hour kicks it off, flowing into dinner, and our evenings expert interactive presentation. Head to bed, or enjoy the pool, the stars and the jungle sounds.

Day 7: friday – final day & closing party

Wake up with yoga & breakfast surrounded by your new friends and peers for our final full day at the resort. Mid-morning we’ll meet for our last expert presentations, group sessions and debriefing. Enjoy your last day with a swim, boot camp, a spa session, or a local excursion. Our closing party will be solar powered with DJ’s, a specially prepared dinner program, and dancing and mingling into the evening. We’ll hold our final bit of space for a group guided meditation and soul sessions before packing for tomorrow’s departure.

Day 8: Sunday – departure

Take a short pre-travel yoga session to boost your day and prepare for departure by noon. Light breakfast is ready early, and our group vans await to get you to the airport rested and ready. If you’ve arranged for an extended stay or other options, please let us know.

With a degree in Business & Hospitality, she has found her life passion and purpose is creating meaning and connection with the outdoors. Having worked as a TV host, and been on various radio, TV and podcasts segments for entrepreneurs and business she understands the connection in storytelling and preparing brands for the public eye. She believes in breaking boundaries and stereotypes and has trained as a survival guide, boat captain and student helicopter pilot.

Deposit
A non refundable $500 deposit is required to secure your spot. Balance is due 60 days prior to trip start.

Payment
Payment is made directly through Wild Adventure Retreats through payment link provided on registration.

Cancellation Policy
60 days or more prior to your trip: 75% of trip costs are refunded. 30 to 60 days prior to your trip: 50% of trip costs are refunded. 0 to 30 days prior to your trip: No refund is available.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is required for all trips with Traverse, and must cover injury, medical, evacuation, and repatriation as well as trip cancellation and trip interruption. Most insurance companies require purchase to be made within 2-3 weeks of booking for full benefits (in particular, trip cancellation). Once insurance is obtained, a copy must be sent to Traverse. Failure to provide proof of insurance within 30 days of booking will result in trip booking suspension until proof of insurance has been provided. We suggest using Wanderwell, a B-Corp Certified provider, or you can choose from any carrier that meets our requirements.

Documents, Personal Identification, Vaccinations
Traveler is responsible for all required travel documents including passport, visas, entry or exit fees, and vaccinations. Traverse does not cover the cost or assist in obtaining any of the above, and reserves the right to collect information on all.
