Brand Sponsors

Peaceful Fruits

Peaceful Fruits is an açai fruit snack brand on a mission to promote rainforest conservation, sustainable income and healthy living. Former Peace Corp volunteer Evan Delahanty founded the brand after serving in Suriname where he worked with locals to help them improve their standard of living and protect their way of life while keeping in balance with the Amazon rainforest. Traverse is proud to partner with Peaceful Fruits on the 2017 and 2018 Amazon Encounter Ecuador adventures.

barrio planta project

Barrio Planta Project provides supplementary education to kids in the San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua community. Born out of a local desire to offer English, art, music and other educational opportunities to kids within the area, BPP helps young local residents excel in education while empowering them with cultural and life skills that they can apply at home and afield.

Traverse is incredibly excited to volunteer with Barrio Planta Project through yoga, art and Spanish-English exchange during the November 2017 Yoga + Surf Nicaragua retreat. 5% of trip sales will be donated to BPP.
