Immerse yourself in nature and culture in the unspoiled beauty of Mexico’s coastal paradise just 30 minutes from Zihuatanejo on a pristine private beach, sprinkled with palm trees in the middle of a 200-acre tropical ecosystem at a B-Corp certified sustainable property. We’ll kick off our retreat with a bonfire Welcome Dinner under the stars. Then, for our first morning prepare your heart for the ancestral wisdom of Día de los Muertos with a traditional cacao ceremony. Throughout the retreat, you’re invited to take part in traditional Día de los Muertos activities as you honor the land and traditions of Mexico as well as your own ancestral heritage. Enjoy daily yoga with Leti Alvarez in a beautiful oceanside yoga shala and explore the 20-acre permaculture farm filled with coconuts, mangos, greens and from where your daily meals are based along with other locally sourced ingredients.
Each day allows you to take the pace you need to rest, recharge, and be inspired. Enjoy beautiful tree-house style common spaces with your journal and tea, swim or snorkel in the ocean, or opt for a spa treatment with local medicinal ingredients. You can also engage with the local community with add-on land and ocean-based activities such as village visits, a marine biodiversity tour, visit to a turtle sanctuary, visiting chocolate and coffee growers in the mountains, seeing local salt flats and much more. We’ll end with a special Día de los Muertos ceremony to honor our time together.
