Are you looking for a challenge for the body and mind in off-the-beaten path locales that will surprise and inspire you? Are you awestruck by diverse landscapes (and willing to sweat a little to get to them!) and intrigued by the beautifully complex cultures of the world?

Then our Adventure Trips are just for you!

ALL OF OUR ADVENTURE TRIPS

OUR ADVENTURE TRIPS ARE FOR YOU IF…

• You love a challenge and aren’t afraid to get sweaty or sandy in the process

• You’re up for multi-day outdoor excursions such as hikes or bike rides in various terrains and climates

•  You’re all about the “yes, and” - Yes to camping in the elements and the 5-star eco lodge with the Himalayan salt pool

• You’re looking to meet like-minded, curious adventurers and to positively contribute to group dynamics and engage with and learn from your local hosts

OUR ADVENTURE TRIPS MAY NOT BE FOR YOU IF…

• You seek perfection and are inflexible when things don’t go as planned; it will ruin the experience for you

• You’re not up for (a reasonable amount of) long days and early mornings for epic experiences (think: sunrise!)

• You’re not interested in learning about diverse perspectives and ways of living; your way is the way

• The earth and our impact on it is not a consideration for you

TESTIMONIALS FROM OUR ADVENTURE TRIPS:

FAQS

  • Most Adventure trips have at least one long hike, if not several days of hiking. A long hike may be 4-7 hours over 6-12 miles with inclines and declines throughout the trail. Each trip itinerary specifies the distance and elevation.

While your fitness level doesn't have to be like an athlete, you should be able to hike for multiple hours at a time through diverse terrain.

  • This one has a broad answer! While Adventure trips often draw travelers in their 30s-50s, we’ve had clients in their 20s traveling with a parent as well as travelers in their 70s up for the challenge! Adventure trips are not just about the physical aptitude but also mental mindset, which makes all the difference when out in nature.

  • Generally our group trips are around 6-12 people, but sometimes we get nice small groups of 4-6 which is super fun! If you book self-guided, the minimum people is 2.

  • Not at all! We're quite adept at tailoring to your needs. Whether gluten free (including Celiac), vegetarian or vegan, dairy or lactose free, or if you have a specific allergy or intolerance we can work around your needs and provide fresh, locally sourced meals that will keep you nourished and satisfied.

  • We recommend booking your trip 6-8 months in advance to ensure your space, though we’ll typically take bookings up to 1 month prior to the trip if there are still spots left.

  • Yes, we require travel insurance which you can read about here.
