DAILY ITINERARY

  • Arrive in the storybook spa town of Baden-Baden, nestled at the edge of the lush Black Forest with rolling vineyards, forested hills, and a sense of calm that begins the moment you arrive. Fly in via Baden Airpark,  Frankfurt Airport or Stuttgart Airport with enough time by train or bus to arrive in Baden-Baden by mid-afternoon.

Settle into the peaceful Oosscheuern district, where your charming historic stay blends old-world character with modern comfort. In June, the air is warm and fragrant, with roses in bloom and long golden evenings inviting you to slow down.

Tonight, gather for a relaxed Welcome Dinner featuring fresh, seasonal, and nourishing regional cuisine—think vibrant salads with local asparagus, forest herbs, fresh berries, and light dishes inspired by both German and Mediterranean traditions. This is your time to connect, laugh, and meet your fellow travelers.

You’ll also be introduced to your retreat leaders, Kim and Jeri, whose daily breathwork and coaching sessions will gently guide your journey inward. The sessions will be woven in each day, typically before your mornings or evening meal. These sessions—like “a massage for the mind”—help you release stress, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself in a supportive, uplifting space.

  • Ease into the rhythm of Baden-Baden with a guided exploration of its most beautiful corners and hidden gems. Wander through the elegant spa district, visit key historic sites including a church with a story and famous women of Baden-Baden, and stroll along the leafy Lichtentaler Allee, where locals walk, cycle, and linger with coffee in hand.

In June, the parks are especially alive—flowering gardens, birdsong, and the gentle flow of the Oos River create a serene backdrop. You’ll pass historic churches, boutique shops, and quiet squares before arriving in the Old Town, where pastel buildings and café terraces invite you to pause and soak it all in.

We’ll break for a leisurely lunch—perhaps a fresh trout dish, seasonal vegetables, or a crisp glass of local Riesling—before an exclusive visit to the stunning Museum Frieder Burda. This light-filled modern museum offers an inspiring contrast to the town’s history, showcasing world-class contemporary art in a peaceful park setting.

This evening we’ll gather again for dinner together.

    Meals: B, D

  • Today, step into the magic of the Black Forest for a guided hike along the breathtaking Panorama Trail (approx. 9 km / 5 miles). This is where Baden-Baden truly shines—dense pine and fir forests, sun-dappled paths, and sweeping views over the Rhine Valley and even a bit into France if the weather is clear. This is not a super technical or difficult hike. If you’re relatively fit and come prepared with good running or hiking shoes you’ll be set!

June brings the forest to life with wildflowers, mossy greens, and the scent of earth and pine. Keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and native birds, while your guide shares stories of the region’s natural and cultural heritage. We’ll pause along the way for light snacks such as local bread, cheeses, and fresh fruit.

After hiking, return to town like a local—by bus!—before enjoying a relaxed afternoon at your own pace. You might explore more culture at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden, browse boutiques, or settle into a café for coffee and cake (a beloved German ritual).

We’ll reconvene in the evening for a delicious dinner together.

  • After your active day, it’s time to fully unwind. Today is dedicated to the restorative power of Baden-Baden’s thermal waters at the elegant Caracalla Spa.

You have a full day pass, so you can move at your own pace through warm mineral pools, steam baths, and whirlpools, surrounded by marble, glass, and soft natural light. Let the water soothe tired muscles as you drift between indoor and outdoor spaces. You may choose to enhance your experience with a massage, body scrub, or simply a quiet moment of stillness.

Locals often spend hours here—reading, relaxing, and enjoying the ritual of wellness—perhaps with a light lunch of fresh salads, herbal teas, or nourishing bowls on site.

This evening is yours to explore: dine at a cozy restaurant, enjoy a glass of wine under the stars, or simply rest and recharge.

    Meals: B

  • This morning offers a truly special experience at the historic Friedrichsbad, where Roman and Irish bathing traditions come together in a 17-step ritual. Moving through steam, heat, and thermal pools, you’ll end beneath a stunning frescoed dome—feeling both grounded and renewed.

In the afternoon, continue inward with a deeply calming sound healing session. Using singing bowls and gentle vibrations, this experience supports emotional release, energetic balance, and a profound sense of peace. It’s a beautiful complement to the week’s breathwork—helping you integrate, reflect, and reconnect.

We close the retreat with a special Farewell Dinner—celebrating the friendships formed, the laughter shared, and the personal shifts experienced. Expect a nourishing, seasonal meal—perhaps featuring local vegetables, fresh herbs, and a touch of indulgence—paired with a heartfelt closing ceremony.

    Meals: B, D
